(It's so worth it!) Then go to Slough Creek. (It isn't graphic like, it doesn't show you mating with your mate.) Then you pay $4.00. And eating elk is only one thing you can do so far. You actually have to sniff out elk herds, pick one, and kill it! When eating an elk, it can get a little bloody, but it isn't TOO bad. You experience the life of a real wolf! You create your wolf, chose what its name is, fur color, and female or male. I highly recommend you check out BOTH games. I could go on forever about wolf quest 3. it could be quite upsetting for small children but I think it's not too bad, and it is very realistic and educational. elk run in herds and the easiest ones to kill are the babies, which you lead out of the herd. instead of being able to spam the attack button like on wolf quest classic, I'm pretty sure you hold onto the button and your wolf latches on, until the elk is dead. the violence on wolf quest 3 is much more realistic. if you've already bought the classic wolf quest you don't have to buy wolf quest 3, at least that's what I've heard. I haven't played it yet, but from videos and pictures, it looks absolutely stunning! almost identical to real life. there is a new wolf quest game, wolf quest 3: anniversary edition. That whole review was for the classic wolf quest. there is no voice chat in public servers. on private servers, text chat or voice chat are options. if you sign up as over 13, you get text chat where you get to type what you want but you can't swear. this means that you can only communicate using pre-written sentences and stuff, you have less freedom to say what you want. if you sign up as under 13, you can only join public servers where phrase chat is enabled. there are public servers where you play with strangers and private servers where you get to play with people you know and trust. you can raise pups with other people or just hunt and chat. if it gets boring, there is multiplayer, which means you play with people around the world. the game is short but challenging and you can replay it a lot. you have to pay for the rest of the game (raising pups) and multiplayer. the mate is an ai who helps you fight and hunt. you get a mate in this game but there is no sex or sexual behaviour. the carcasses get rather bloody when you eat them but it's not too bad. the graphics aren't the best, but they're okay! (the new version of this game, wolf quest 3, has way better graphics, almost identical to real life, I go more in detail about wolf quest 3 near the end of this review.) there is some violence but not too much. you get to learn about wolves of Yellowstone National park and how they, and other wolves, live. Thanks for reading and making up your mind! I hope this helped! While WolfQuest: anniversary edition is so much better for PC/MAC, it's a wonderful placeholder for the android and iPad users. Once you finish the game, you feel a sense of 'YAY' and encouragement to play again, which I really like. *you can also kill the wolves that come near the den, which you might find disturbing, but no cannibalism occurs after these actions* This is very heartbreaking for players who get attached to the pups. If they succeed, a banner shows up saying ' has died' or something similar. After a few days, predators start trying to attack the den and take the pups. Once going to Slough Creek, you find a den to have pups in. Once you collect 800 points, you can find a mate, which requires a few actions such as tail wagging, playbowing, licking face and sniffing noses, all natural in the wild. Younger viewers might get frightened of these actions and start a conversation (what the game is about, and parents, you will need to have it one day) about ecosystems and predators. Once the tutorial is finished, you can hunt more elk, or go in the wolf territories to fight/be submissive to them. When you get in-game, there is a very weak elk that requires you to kill it, which is the way of the wild, but for sensitive kids, this may be a brutal way for the game to start. You can customise (which admittedly spends a lot of time) your wolf, chose gender, name and pelt colours. It is easy to buy them all, especially for sticklers like me that love doing hours of customizing. When you open the app, there are various buttons that tell you to either buy a coat colour, or use the ones provided. WolfQuest is a game that allows the player to live the life of a wolf.
